If you read this journal long enough you've probably noticed I love jogging.
One meaning and probably most important of all of workout is work-the-shit-out of my body.
Right before I jog I go to the bathroom and leave all the shit there :) But after a long enough fast nice jogging I come home and.. GO TO THE BATHROOM AGAIN. And leave like half of that I've already crapped out before. I'm not kidding around. And otherwise if I didn't jog that would stay in me. But jogging makes it go out of my organism which makes me so happy and healthier.
This is why I prefer jogging to biking. See in jogging body shakes every step. And that helps all the shit get out.
My health basis is great sleep, healthy food, positive thinking and jogging.

jogging!!
The way I insanely behave throughout jogging session is directly opposite to how much it serves for me to be able to keep my sanity in this completely insane world. You get it? I'm not quite sure you do because I don't :)
I do twists and turns. I run like I'm an aircraft. I do jumps and spins. And spins while I'm in a jump :) I get a lotta fun outta jogging. It's my life.
Gushhh, jogging is such a joy. Makes me feel alive. Damn fullfilled. Happy.
Today for the second time in my life I got stopped outside while in jogging by police officers asking questions like: «Where (and where from, and who from) are you running? Are you nuts — it's freezing outside (like -35°C)». – "Pals, I just like jogging, that's all :)".
But this time they put me into police car and delivered around a mile away and showed to a woman who's just been robbed for 1k RUR :). She hasn't recognized me, so they politely gave me a ride where to I've been jogging and that's all.
Nice little accident I guess :), i'n'nit?
Jogging and cold-shower are the two things able to bring me back to life from whatever the shit I'm in.
Jogging somehow contributes to solving major questions in my life. If I can't find a way to solve some problem, I take it with me to a run & the answer comes up out of blue. I love it. Most important decisions in my life, trickiest twisted situations were successfully fixed at times of jogging.
I'm now semi-officially known as a running dude by people outdoor whom I haven't totally seen ever at all.
:)
Today I've had a totally joyful crash with an English language teacher
girl while jogging back home from HDD restoring service.
She yelled quite loud and high and was smiling and all joyful looking. That kinda empowered me & fulfilled.
After about a month of jogging to (& back from) work I'm starting to lose my jeans (the belt is out of shortest pinhole). Groovy!
I've been jogging to work now for two entire weeks. And that saves a lotta time. Coz I don't have to allocate some extra time to do it. However there is one issue about jogging to work: I have to bring some clean dry cloth change which I put on right after I arrive at work :)
Jogging to work actually brings great productive mood during a working day. I also started to take little workouts every 35-50 minutes whenever I feel sluggish or sleepy. (My freeware PC app may help you with the workouts)
I believe that one of the most incorrect ideas about jogging is that you become tired and there is no energy left afterwards. Wrong.
To feel great and energetic after a jogging you may try the following:
(1) Accept an idea that there is so much energy all over the world and you don't spend your own, but accept that endless supply and retranslate throughout your body.
(2) Try to have as much fun as possible. Apply all different kinds of pace techniques in order to load your body evenly. The main aspect of jogging is fun and great mood.
And you'll be fine ;)

I'd like to note that provided you do a major jogging workout, it's extremely important that you feed your body sufficiently (or even more than that). Lack of all the body building components is going to affect you dramatically sad. And please don't worry about your body weight — it's not going to raise, since you do a really intense jogging. |
These days it is so completely dark outdoor at the time I can have a jogging. So dark that even provided I've been jogging this forest track like 4+ years still I can easily turn to wrong way or get into bushes on aside. Also it takes all the physical skills to watch land surface, small uphills and slopes. I would call this foot vision. I put my feet really really carefully and soft.
To avoid getting into bushes I've found only one but a working method: lateral vision — when I watch the track not straightly but from aside. (This might work because the eye retina side area distinguishes intensity gradation levels much better than the center area of the retina).
Amazing feeling of running as fast as I can (on straight flat areas) and seeing no difference around (because of not seeing anything).
After 15km run I wanna drink as a devil. And, hell, it brings much sense into my life (the very process of drinking :)
I usually run at least 5 kilometers which does require both technique and energy. But the most significant and crucial word here is certainly technique. I've already written plenty about jogging technique. It all helps to work my body out completely. And simultaneously have no problems after that.
For this time I would like to tell about one more trick that helps me to perform a right jogging and keeps my technique. Each time during the process when I start feeling tired I do the following: I pretend that my physical body goes in front of me (it speeds up) and I follow it and watch myself. I watch my legs, my hands, my back and everything. Like my physical body is some kind of computer game (Duke Nuken, GTA3, Counter Strike) hero. And I sit at the keyboard and display and control myself. And while I can keep it in my mind I feel my body much better and my speed increases without any additional effort. It caused by the technique I use.
So, just try to look at yourself from aside any time you feel tired.
